Some time ago, I organized many scraps I have lying around according to theme. These scraps mostly appear when I am trying out new ideas. 

One of these stacks, with birds and feathers, I wanted to bring with me on a little trip. I am curious what I can do there without my sewing machine and other supplies. 

I will also bring Cas Holmes' book, The Found Object in Textile Art. Very inspiring but 

I have not had time to read it properly yet. 

Also very inspiring to me is Jude Hill. I took part in her amazing Magic Feathers project a few years ago, see this post, and I still like to embroider feathers.

Een tijdje geleden heb ik een heleboel van mijn proeflapjes op onderwerp opgeborgen. Deze

proeflapjes ontstaan meestal bij het uitproberen van een nieuw idee.

Eén van die stapeltjes, "vogels en veren", wil ik meenemen op reis. Ik 

ben benieuwd wat ik hier mee kan zonder naaimachine en met beperkte middelen.

Wat ik ook meeneem is het boek van Cas Holmes, The Found Object in Textile Art, 

heel inspirerend maar nog nooit echt goed doorgelezen.

Mijn inspiratie komt ook van Jude Hill. Jaren geleden heb ik meegedaan aan haar prachtige Magic Feathers project, zie hier, en nog steeds borduur ik heel graag veren.

Sometimes that does not work and I have to add some other pieces.
I use cardboard mould for this. 

Dit lukt niet altijd en soms moet ik er stukjes aanzetten. 

Als mal gebruik ik een stukje karton.

The new assignment  in this serie  is again a felt postcard, but it comes with some of the material that is used on it, separately. This material you then have to use on the next card you make.

In onze nieuwe serie  is de nieuwe opdracht een viltkaart maken en een van de daarin gebruikte materialen los meesturen. Het is dan de bedoeling dat dit los toegevoegde materiaal in de volgende kaart wordt gebruikt.
