Buttons

Some new buttons for my etsy shop! They're made of felt and I have decorated them with embroidery and beads. Feel free to have a look!

Material Monday

Over the years I have collected so many beautiful ribbons, lace, fabrics and yarns, and in the end I only use so little. I would love to use all these amazing materials in something, together, and preferably in something usable. If anyone has an idea, please let me know!

In de loop der jaren heb ik zoveel mooie bandjes, kantjes, lapjes, en draadjes verzameld en eigenlijk gebruik je er maar zo weinig van. Ik zou het zo fijn vinden om al deze mooie materialen te gebruiken in een werkstuk, bij elkaar en dan nog het liefst in iets wat bruikbaars is. Als iemand een idee heeft, laat het me weten!

Wat versierde vierkantjes. Dit veertje is geborduurd met de platsteek.

Dit zijn twee zelfgemaakte knopen uit de voorraad.  Een knoop die niet door een knoopsgat hoeft, kan natuurlijk op meerdere manieren worden vastgezet.

These are two buttons I made a while ago. A button that does not have to got through a button hole, can of course be attached in different ways. 

Recycling vilt 3

Sommige vierkantjes zijn restjes van iets wat al versierd was, zoals de vierkantjes hierboven, deze laat ik zoals ze zijn. Maar andere kunnen nog wel wat opsmuk gebruiken. Ik gebruik hiervoor draadjes borduurgaren maar ook hier recycle ik weer wat ik nog heb liggen. Stukjes vilt gehaakte bloemetjes zelfgemaakte knopen en andere dingen zoals te zien op de foto hieronder 


Some squares are leftovers of something that already had been decorated, like the squares in above the picture, which I leave as they are. But others could still use some embellishment. I use embroidery yarn but here again I recycle what I already have, pieces of felt, crocheted flowers, handmade buttons and other things as seen in the picture below.
